Why I Practice
Pilates helps me stay in touch with my posture and the way I use my body throughout the day. It has played a critical role in helping me to eliminate chronic pain and injury from years of dancing. With the strength I have gained through Pilates, my dancing, my yoga practice, and my overall functional strength have improved tremendously.
Why I Teach
A good Pilates workout leaves you energized, alert, and attuned to your body in new ways, and I enjoy the ability to give that feeling to my students. I love to see my students making discoveries about how to move more efficiently and how they can take charge of their own healing process in cases of pain or injury. By teaching Pilates, I can help my students understand what they need to do in order to discover a beautiful, healthy, strong body.
