I am inspired by mentors and students alike who truly listen to their bodies and honor where they are in the moment. When I see an accomplished yogi take a child's pose rather than an inversion or impressive asana, I am inspired. They don't have anything to prove.
Why I Practice
To cultivate my body as my home. Wherever I travel, I am always at home in my body, on my mat, in my practice.
Why I Teach
To inspire people to bring space between sensation and reaction. To encourage yogis to take a breath between experiencing what is happening in and around their bodies and allowing their minds to label it as good or bad. Maybe it just is.
