"Everything that is made beautiful and fair and lovely is made for the eye of one who sees." - Rumi
Why I Practice
I practice yoga as a means to liberation. Yoga practice teaches me to let go of my idea of what is in favor of what actually is. It asks me to do the work regardless of the outcome. Nothing makes me feel like yoga does.
Why I Teach
I teach yoga to transfer my sense of joy and exploration to students. My yoga classes challenge students to find alignment so that their energy can move through their bodies uninhibited. When the energy channels are clear, the mind is liberated from chitta vrittis - mind chatter - and a greater peace can emerge.
