Why I Practice
"Practice" is something that I never really understood before practicing yoga. As a musician and as an actor, "practice" to me meant that it better be good at some point, it better be worth something to someone else. Needless to say, my definition of "practice" was a little skewed. Through yoga, I've learned to treasure the journey of "practice" in all aspects of my life - acting, singing, communicating with others, making more time for family - it's all a practice. There will always be room for improvement, and that's the fun of it. The practice, the journey is never over.
Why I Teach
The art of teaching has always been something that I've gravitated toward. From the first day of teacher training I knew that this was something I would be doing for the rest of my life. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to share this practice with others. I am inspired by my students every single day.
