Why I Practice
I practice to open and unblock the physical, get out of my head and to be more present. Yoga allows me to find a more balanced perspective on the world we all share. I use my mat to start making changes that might transform my life when I step off the mat and back into my daily life. My practice helps me get through the day with more ease, one breath at a time.
Why I Teach
Yoga can be an amazing tool for physical and mental transformation. It can be challenging and fun and help us to take ourselves less seriously. I teach to cultivate listening in--to make the connection to the energetic quality that we all share--and to feel better in our bodies. As we start to recognize ourselves in each other, this positive energy ripples out into the world like a wave, touching all those around us.
