Why I Practice
I practice to keep my sanity! Practice for me is like brushing my teeth -- I need to do some every day; it is the greatest habit of my life. Aside from keeping the kinks out of my body it helps me stay grounded, calm, and centered.
Why I Teach
I feel like I am helping to bring people back into their bodies and back home to themselves, without all the layers and "stuff" we lug around. An oasis of peace and joy lies within, and through movement, breath, and mindfulness, we can return to it anytime. Yoga is a deeply healing practice for the body, mind, and spirit. It is a true gift to be a teacher and guide people to rediscover what already lies inside each and every one of us.
