Swamini Turiyasangitananda, the qualities of Bhakti, compassion and generosity, Bhakti Yoga
Why I Practice
To strengthen the body, discipline the mind and connect to the higher self. When practicing the world shifts into slow motion, the weight of the world drops away and its illusionary nature reveals itself. My practice leaves me feeling refreshed, invigorated and centered.
Why I Teach
Yoga is both a passion and blessing in my life, I feel indebted to my teachers and obligated to share this gift with others. I teach because I know that it will change the world through the lives of those who embrace its beauty and wisdom. I believe the discipline of practice, the richness of yoga philosophy and the peace of meditation is a panacea for modern day stress filled and chaotic lifestyle; my wish is to share this light with as many people as possible.
