Why I Practice
I practice because it makes everything better. I grew up disabled as a child, not being allowed to participate in physical education at school, in fact I wasn't allowed to walk at all from the age of 4 to 5, and then only on one leg for four more years after that. I know how it feels not to move, and it doesn't feel good. Now you can't keep me still! I want to try everything and anything! I have more energy, more focus, I sleep better, I am happier -- not to mention healthier -- and it just feels so good. These are all things that keep me excited and enthusiastic to return to my practice.
Why I Teach
I teach because I truly want to share with as many people as possible how great it feels to just move. Whether it's Yoga, TRX, Sculpt, Barre, or even if it's just for the music, bending, stretching, and moving, your body feels so good and is so good for you. With mindful instruction and careful guidance, whether you are brand new to "fitness" or a seasoned practitioner, it is my honor and my pleasure to share time in the studio with you. I love sharing the knowledge I have learned and passing it on so we can all live in safe, happy, and healthy bodies. May we all feel fabulous!
