Cultivate the full potential of your hands on offerings.
Learn basic therapeutic touch techniques to use during restorative yoga poses as well as working with special body positioning to help release tension, move energy, and support deeper healing.
We will cover dealing with injury and illness, energetic and emotional movement, as well as creating boundaries. You will leave confident in your choices, style and abilities with hands-on teaching and healing. Be prepared to give and receive the practice.
These workshops are open to all but especially great for yoga & pilates teachers, body workers, physical therapist and caretakers.
Please bring four hand towels to the training on Sunday.
This programs is a requirement for the 100-hour Therapeutic Teacher Training.
Jillian Pransky, E-RYT 500, is an international presenter and the director of Restorative Therapeutic Yoga teacher training for YogaWorks. Her Calm Body, Clear Mind DVD and Relaxmore CD have garnered excellent reviews from Dr. Mehmet Oz, Yoga Journal, and many others. Jillian is a featured yoga expert for Prevention Magazine. A student of Pema Chödrön’s work since 1998, Jillian infuses her yoga classes with mindfulness practices, compassion, and ease. Her seamless style of working simultaneously with the body, mind, and spirit, while attuning with nature and the environment, creates inspiring classes and an integrative healing experience. Her debut wellness book will be published by Rodale in Fall 2017.

Full payment is required to reserve a space in workshops. All workshops are non-refundable. Cancellations made two weeks or more prior to workshop start date will be issued store credit. No store credit will be given for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to workshop start date.
