Formerly known as "Take The Afternoon Off," Oasis Offering is a three hour respite.
This extended class is in response from many Yogis asking for a longer format to dive deeper into our bodies and breath. It only seems right to change the name to O2 because who even knows what an afternoon is anymore?
Oasis: "A small fertile or green area in a desert region. Something serving as a refuge, relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, difficult." That’s this class.
First part: Finding our grounding and breath and setting intention for our practice. Energy tune up and subtle body awakening.
Second part: Joint mobility and muscle flexibility poses. Physical body awakening and lubrication/ shifting the tides and the minds.
Practicing apart and yet still together. Please have a strap or two (one 10' or longer); two blankets; bolster or couch pillow; eye bag or towel; open and receptive mind and most importantly a sense of humor!
Acclaimed physical therapist, yogi, and beloved teacher, Harvey Deutch, P.T. has been merging the art and science of yoga and physical therapy for over 35 years, exploring and perfecting the nuances of each. His laser-sharp precision and keen eye for working with the physical form join his innate ability to understand and finesse the energetic body. Along with his signature humor, Harvey is well-known for taking two-dimensional anatomy off the page and making it burst alive on the mat. For more information, please visit:
Each session's recording available until the next session. The final session will be available for two weeks.

Trauma-Informed Yoga Sequencing, Languaging & Facilitation | Online Live Stream
by Kyra Haglund & RW Alves
Trauma-Informed Sequencing, Languaging & Facilitation (Module Four) is the second of two Facilitation Modules in the Collective Resilience certification sequence. Unlike the Foundations Modules, which primarily focus on foundational frameworks and broad understanding of concepts, the Facilitation Modules dive deep into the practicalities of facilitating trauma-informed classes, sequences, and spaces.
Module Four is a comprehensive, holistic immersion into appropriate trauma-informed sequencing and languaging as it relates to groups and individuals in various nervous system states. Through discussion, small & large group work, and case studies, it equips participants to utilize frameworks and tools such as developmental movement, the kosha system, trauma-informed languaging, and accessible asana to support self-regulation through trauma-informed classes for a wide variety of students.
Kyra Haglund (she/her), LCSW, SEP, E-RYT500 is a yoga teacher, clinical social worker, Somatic Experiencing practitioner, and activist. She lived and studied holistic arts & cultural anthropology extensively in India and Nepal and completed her graduate studies in social work from the University of Southern California, focusing on mental health, military social work, family systems, and public policy. She is also certified in Somatic Experiencing, a mind-body modality that works directly with the nervous system to relieve and resolve symptoms of trauma.
RW Alves (she/they), C-IAYT, SEP, E-RYT 500, is a social justice educator, certified yoga therapist, yoga teacher trainer, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner based in Seattle. She specializes in teaching about body positivity, body liberation, inclusive languaging and teaching, trauma-informed yoga, nervous system resilience, accessible asana, justice, privilege, and spiritual practice. RW serves as Faculty for Off the Mat, Into the World and The Yoga Service Conference, teaches trauma-informed yoga through a social justice lens with Collective Resilience, and is a co-founder and trainer for Bending Towards Justice, which provides anti-oppression, equity, and social justice trainings for yoga teachers and practitioners around the country. She is a contributor to the Yoga Service Council’s forthcoming book on Best Practices in Yoga for Addiction and Recovery. Learn more at
Module Four is the final Facilitation Module in Collective Resilience’s certification sequence. Unlike the Foundations Modules, which primarily focus on foundational frameworks and broad understanding of concepts, the Facilitation Modules dive deep into the practicalities of facilitating trauma-informed classes, sequences, and spaces.
Ingrained in all Collective Resilience trainings is the understanding that systemic patterns of trauma, privilege, marginalization, and oppression (such as poverty, racism, ableism, and homophobia among others) must be addressed in order to cultivate healing for all individuals.

Sama Sadhana: Online Live Stream
by Annie Carpenter
Sama means even, or balanced, as in Samasthithi, Even standing pose. This pose teaches us to balance the body right and left, front and back and up and down; further it asks us to sense our feeling of being grounded with our need to feel free. And lastly it suggests that in our personal concerns we acknowledge the truth that we are part of a greater, spiritual whole. Sadhana is practice: our daily Yogic practice. Sama Sadhana = Even, balanced Practice.
In this Intensive, you will reflect on and aim to balance your body, mind and heart in all the poses we practice and in all the Movement Principles (MP)* that we explore. This will be a demanding and transformational workshop, moving you through the limbs of Yoga via the portal of Asana.
‘If effort isn’t balanced, the Buddha says, we’ll produce an untoward result, in the same way that a stringed instrument, if not tuned properly, will produce a dissonant sound.’
