About the studio

Situated in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood and adjacent to The Boston Public Gardens, YogaWorks Back Bay is walking distance to many hotels, restaurants and the famous shopping of Newbury Street and Copley Plaza. Upon entering the space you’ll immediately feel the accepting and vibrant energy of our teachers, students and staff. It’s an environment where everyone is welcome – beginners to advanced practitioners alike. Classes are filled with an eclectic mix of college students, young professionals and the more established residents of the area. Sweat it out in one of our Vinyasa flow classes, de-stress with deep relaxation or yin, or familiarize yourself with yoga for the first time in one of our beginners classes.

We are located between Arlington Street and Berkeley Street; 1/2 a block from the Arlington Green line T-stop and a few blocks away from Back Bay Commuter Rail and the Orange line

Parking

There is two hour street parking directly on and around Boylston St. from 8am-8pm as well as near-by parking garages (Boston Common Parking & Motor Mart Garage). There are also bike racks on Boylston St.

Private Yoga Classes

Get One-on-One Attention

With private yoga lessons, you'll zero in on your goals and get personalized instruction based on your health, body type and lifestyle—and on your time. We'll carefully select one of our expert teachers to craft classes that meet your personal needs.

Students book private lessons for a variety of intentions, such as:

  • Grasping the basics of yoga (3+ sessions recommended)

  • Developing confidence to practice in group settings

  • Tailoring their practice to benefit a sport or profession outside of the studio, such as improving golf swing or complementing triathlon training

  • Learning to modify a practice while healing from injury

  • Cultivating a therapeutic practice to manage or improve health issues like insomnia or low back pain

  • Receiving one-on-one attention in a private space

  • Deepening meditation practice

  • Diving into postures, whether you need special attention to master a challenging pose like headstand or perfect form in a fundamental pose like Chaturanga Dandasana

  • Exploring yogic philosophy or unfamiliar styles of yoga
