I enjoy teaching (and practicing!) the 26+2 sequence, vinyasa flow, the Ghosh 84 class, as well as traditional Tibetan meditation techniques, and I am excited to share them with you on our mats. My students' energy is inspirational, and I love how we always feel better, mentally and physically, when we step off of our mats.
Why I Practice
I recall my first experiences with yoga as intimidating. Being shy and reluctant to practice yoga in public, I started practicing yoga on a Wii Fit at home. I eventually built the confidence to attend studio classes, and with help, I was able to recognize the benefits—physical and mental. I attended Bikram teacher training in 2012 and was a familiar face on the USA Yoga competition circuit, where I placed in the top five of USA Men for three years. Recently, I decided to explore other styles of movement and completed my RYT-200 with Fluid Yoga’s Vinyasa Teacher Training and my advanced RYT-500 with Jared McCann. I like the challenge that vinyasa can offer and the balance that it brings to my practice.
Why I Teach
Yoga is the path in which one finds their true self and develops value to all things. My wish is to guide you through your own self discovery and provide a stepping stone for you to reach your highest potential.
