I am inspired by my children, my students, and my friends. I am often inspired by the everyday messages we receive from the universe. The more open we are to inspiration, the more inspired we become.
Why I Practice
We can only teach what we know to be true in ourselves. My yoga practice on and off the mat offers me grounding, space, and perspective. It helps me be a better mother, friend, wife, teacher, and person.
Why I Teach
My journey began with the enjoyment of all the physical benefits that yoga had to offer; however, over the last 15 years I more intimately explored Buddhist principles and yogic philosophy and experienced the benefits of living yoga off the mat. This has given me an even deeper connection to the practice. Through my teaching, leading retreats, and writing, I love to inspire others to live their yoga practice both on and off the mat.
