I am inspired by the power of the personal and universal ethics laid out in the first two limbs of the eight-limbed path of yoga. The yamas and niyamas clearly define the path of right action and living an authentic and compassionate life which inspires me to live my truth.
Why I Practice
I practice yoga because I am a much better wife, mother, and friend when I get the physical, mental, and emotional release that yoga offers. Breathing deeply helps calm and center me reducing my reactionary impulses, and practicing ahimsa (non-harming) helps me be a compassionate human.
Why I Teach
I love inspiring students to explore their physical and mental boundaries by engaging in fun, challenging poses that help them confront their fears and find freedom in their body, mind, and breath. Witnessing students' personal journeys toward transformation and enlightenment is a privilege and the reason I love teaching.
