Why I Practice
Yoga is life! I practice yoga because it connects me to my mind, body, and spirit. I often find myself disconnected from my true self, and yoga has taught me how to reconnect. It reminds me to live in the present moment and not to be stuck in the past or the future but enjoy the here and now.
Why I Teach
I am very passionate about teaching yoga and bringing the practice to my students. Yoga has taught me how to live a more mindful, more fulfilled and present life. I'm also passionate about teaching children yoga. It amazes me how quickly they learn and pick up the yoga poses and breathing techniques. Children these days seem to have a lot more added stress, and I love that through yoga children get to learn the building blocks of how to live a more mindful life. I am a very energetic and enthusiastic person who gets along great with children. I'm a big kid myself and feel that children gravitate toward me because of my personality and outlook on life.
