Dance, aerial arts (dancing in the air!), the stillness in nature
Why I Practice
When I practice it gives me the opportunity to focus on the present moment and to come away from exterior distractions that pull us back and forth between the past and future. In the process of being present, the practice of non-attachment to thoughts, poses, and even feelings allows room to find fullness of the self and happiness in simplicity.
Why I Teach
I love being able to suggest new perspectives and views to my students, from perhaps inner thoughts to the asana and physical work itself. Being able to inspire and hold a space for self exploration gives me great joy.
