My mom is a yoga teacher at age 80 and is a huge inspiration. Other inspirational elements include travel, music, the arts, nature, friends, family, passion, and imagination.
Why I Practice
I practice on a physical level to find relief and freedom in my body, especially since I have some physical limitations from a back injury, on a mindful level for a sense of calm, and on an energy level to feel connected to myself and my community.
Why I Teach
I teach to share what I have learned, and to help students feel a sense of openness, freedom, and connection in their minds and bodies.
