Why I Practice
I practice yoga to come back to myself. Nothing works better for me than yoga. I am still amazed (and it's been 10 years) at how much yoga works. It's a magical gift.
Why I Teach
I teach because I know how impactful it is, and I like to make a difference in others' lives. I love to help my students feel better in their bodies, and it's one of the absolute best ways to help people prepare mentally and emotionally to tackle challenges in life. I seek to empower students to bring their whole selves onto the mat -- not just the shimmery yoga-perfect Instagram self. I want to help people truly love their full selves in mind/body/spirit -- even the parts that feel hard to love.
