Why I Practice
I am an actor and yoga teacher. I initially found yoga through meditation, for which I have my parents to thank for introducing meditation techniques to me as a child. After incurring several dance-related injuries in 2006, I turned to asana to help the healing process and have been an avid practitioner ever since.
Why I Teach
I received my 200-hour yoga certification with Blooming Lotus Yoga in Koh Phangan, Thailand studying with the sublime Lily Gonclaves and Ramananda Mayi. My training was focused toward vinyasa, hatha, and restorative yoga. While in Thailand I also studied Thai massage at the Loi Kroh massage school in Chiang Mai, and I love to incorporate massage techniques in my yin and restorative classes. I have a passion for teaching beginners and believe yoga is for everyone. I love watching the process of the practice taking root and changing lives.
