"Find life experiences and swallow them whole. Travel. Meet many people. Go down some dead ends and explore dark alleys. Try everything. Exhaust yourself in the glorious pursuit of life." ~ Lawrence K. Fish
Why I Practice
Yoga helps me get out of my own way. I have been practicing since 1993, and I try to step onto the mat each time with a beginner's mind. Asana has been the most immediate and playful entry point for self-connection. When I slow down and notice my engrained physical, mental, and emotional patterns, I am able to choose more empowered ones with compassionate clarity.
Why I Teach
Yoga lights me up! The fact that I can share my seriously playful process as a teacher is an honor and a delight. I may not have the answers, but I certainly love to offer questions that explore this journey of self-awareness within a safe space of inquiry. To teach is to learn twice.
