I find inspiration in so many things -- a favorite poem, dancing, a perfect stone carried home from a journey afar, the smell of fall in the air during an afternoon walk, my beloved Xoloitzcuintles. I’m also grateful to, and inspired by, all of my students, yoga colleagues, and teachers who continue to inspire and inform both my practice and my teaching.
Why I Practice
I practice as a means of fully inhabiting my body, mind, and spirit. I practice to remain grounded and grateful in the midst of whatever life sends my way. I practice to remain awake, aware, and aligned with my "true north."
Why I Teach
I teach to share the joy of both movement and stillness with others and to help foster a sense of community in our fast-paced and sometimes impersonal world.
