Nature is my biggest inspiration.
Why I Practice
I practice yoga to tap into a deeper connection with "all that is." To me, this practice, although it can be physical as well, is more about sensing the "throb" of the universe, the deep sense of interconnection between all things, and the source of consciousness. We need to maintain the body to be able to be a fit vessel for receiving these teachings, so asana practice is essential.
Why I Teach
I have been teaching now for 20 years, and the single most important things to me that have emerged from this time are the connections with my students and the sense of community which we have built.
