When not in yoga pants, I work for a women's organization as a health policy wonk and patient advocate. I love the beach, outdoor concerts, and chocolate chip cookies.
Why I Practice
An accidental yogi, I followed my mom to Tranquil Space in 2010 and have been coming back ever since. I quickly discovered the transformational effects of yoga as a practice that grounds the student while simultaneously creating space to grow. Yoga has taught me to breathe through discomfort (both on and off the mat), and helped me to cultivate a sense of wonder and gratitude for what my body can do.
Why I Teach
I am eager to share the benefits of yoga with others. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where students have the flexibility and support to explore their own practice on any given day. My sequences are thoughtful and creative, with just the right amount of core work and music playlists spanning multiple genres and decades.
