I'm inspired most when I'm in flow with the energy much larger than myself. I'm inspired by my students, through my own findings as a student as well as many of my many teachers -- David Regelin, Mitchel Bleier, Elena Brower, Sharon Salzberg, and Rod Stryker to name a few.
”I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.” ~ Gandhi
Why I Practice
I have a passion for teaching, but I'm always a student at heart. I practice to create the space I need to be present with my body and sensation. I love to experience my body, my mind, and my energy to learn and grow from what shows up for me each time I come to my mat. I practice to connect to my heart and live my life with passion and purpose.
Why I Teach
I teach to help bring flexibility and increased awareness of mind and body. I like to hold space for students to let go and connect with their own goodness as they enjoy healing through relaxation, focus through breath and movement, and letting go through flexibility. I teach with alignment in mind and connection with the breath as a key element in my classes. This enables students to connect with their wholeness through the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic bodies. I embrace healing with my warm and inviting nature and guide students on the pathway to health through use of asana, intention, breath, and energy work.
