People. I am inspired by people. The way people talk to one another, the way we interact with each other for better or worse. I am inspired by the capacity that each one of us has to heal ourselves, even if it's as simple as redirecting a negative thought to a positive one.
Why I Practice
I practice because I need to. Yoga, Pilates, and other forms of mindful movement have really helped me to prioritize what is necessary in my life and parse out what is not. My practice feels like a true path to freedom.
Why I Teach
I believe that as humans we can get so lost and caught up in what we think matters. It's so easy to forget how to really show up, love, and care for one another. That connection -- that showing up, loving, and caring all starts with connecting to the self. I work to teach people how to connect to themselves more fully in an effort to coax out a shared collective empathy for all beings.
