Why I Practice
I love that each practice is different but the end result is the same: I'm more open, more joyful, more mindful, and a better, truer me. Also, a key benefit is that it gives me more patience for my three darling children.
Why I Teach
Leading a class pushes me outside of my comfort zone, but I want others to feel the difference that yoga can make. It may start as a physical workout -- a way to sweat, move, be active -- but I've found that yoga has a way of morphing into a mental workout -- a way to calm the mind, find power in stillness, and push through barriers.
