YogaWorks Teacher Training is returning to Full Lotus Yoga for the fourth consecutive year in February 2020. This year’s yoga teacher training will be led by YogaWorks trainer and studio owner Liz Defour. Students will gather for 9 weekends to train and study together in our 5-star rated yoga alliance approved yoga teacher training. We’re pleased to bring this yoga teacher training expertise to the Detroit yoga community.

The YogaWorks Yoga Teacher Training program blends yoga traditions from the east and west, integrating both into a practical and unique method that combines vinyasa flow with an emphasis on alignment and skillful sequencing. Saturdays | 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Sundays | 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.


Meets the following 9 weekends:
February 15-16, 22-23 & 29
March 1, 14-15, & 28-29
April 4-5, & 18-19

May 2-3 & 16-17


Class Requirement
Students are required to take 12 classes throughout the duration of the program to experience different styles, levels and methodologies.

$2,900 when you pay in full by September 14, 2019

$3,100 when you pay in full by December 7, 2019
$3,300 after December 7, 2019

Students who have graduated from a previous 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered program, receive 50% off the full tuition price.

Students will receive unlimited yoga at Full Lotus Yoga throughout the duration on the training.

Tuition must be paid in full by the early registration date to receive the discounted rate.
Payment Plans available off the full price plus a $50 admin fee (50% of tuition must be received two weeks before start date). Contact us for more details.


We recommend 1 year of consistent yoga practice and require a minimum of six months of a consistence yoga practice or equivalent training.

Liz Defour

Liz Defour is the owner of Full Lotus Yoga studio and has been teaching Yoga for nearly a decade. She began studying Yoga as a teenager and was immediately aware of the importance a consistent practice made on her physical, mental, and spiritual well being. Now a certified 200-Hour E-RYT & 500 RYT Liz is dedicated to sharing Yoga with her community full time. Beginning with and grounded in Ashtanga Yoga, Liz now likes to weave many modalities of movement into her teaching including dance and martial arts. Liz consideres herself a voracious student of the Yoga Sutras and loves to discuss how we can incorporate this ancient ideology into our modern day lifestyle.


Full Lotus Yoga

Full Lotus Yoga Studio opened in June of 2013. The independent owned studio offers a variety of vinyasa-styled classes focused with a moving intention. Full Lotus Yoga strives to create a welcoming and inclusive studio atmosphere where classes are accessible to beginners, intermediate, and well-seasoned practitioners alike. Their intention is to enhance vitality, serenity, and inner-strength within the lives of our students.
