Many students are intimidated by the inversions, or even afraid of injuring themselves when first learning them. Tony’s approach to teaching the inversions is careful and methodical, progressing step-by-step with safety always first in mind.

Focus and patience are the keys to safely mastering the inversions. In this workshop, Tony will help you first establish a firm base of experience by practicing downward-dog pose, elbow balance and handstand before moving on to headstand and shoulder-stand.

Students will come away with increased confidence to incorporate these poses into their regular practice, including variations to make the poses more accessible, and to reveal their power and liveliness.

This workshop is ideal for yoga students of any level with an interest in learning inversions. No prior inversions experience is required.
