Vinyasa Yoga

Try a Vinyasa yoga class level 1-2 and expect a practice accessible for beginners. Learn the fundamentals of this popular style of yoga with more detailed explanations of the poses then the higher level classes which tend to move faster. You’ll feel empowered, energized and eager to come back.

Level 1 Classes

Level 1 Classes

We recommend any of our classes that are designated as level 1 or level 1-2, such as YogaWorks , Yin , or Restorative yoga classes. Level 1 caters to beginning students and focuses on the basics. You'll be surrounded by both brand new and returning practitioners as well as more advanced yogis who want a refresh of the fundamentals.

The slower pace of Hatha yoga classes make them a great choice if you want a less strenuous approach to your practice. These extremely accessible classes are perfect for anyone looking to develop a practice of conscious, mindful movement with some support—from seniors to pregnant women to world-class athletes.

Am I Ready to Go to Class?

The short answer is YES. If you want to try yoga, at any age, weight, or for any reason, that desire to try is all that’s required! Can’t touch your toes? No problem, yoga will loosen you up. Weak upper body, perfect, yoga will build your strength, progressively at your own pace. Don’t know your tadasana from your savasana, don’t worry, at YogaWorks our beginner teachers will speak english and give you plenty of specific, expert instruction so you’ll never feel lost.

Our YogaWorks teachers are some of the most highly trained in the business, so relax and enjoy, you’ll be in good hands.

Booked my first class. What should I bring with me?

  • A yoga mat. If you do not have one, you can rent or buy one at the studio.

  • If you sweat a lot, bring a towel and some water. If you forget either, no problem. We have water for sale and towels for rent at the studio.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in but that also allows your teacher to see your alignment.
