YogaWorks Teacher Training is excited to be returning to Minneapolis after a 3-year break to offer a 200-hour yoga teacher training program. We’ve partnered up with the beautiful Pressed Hot Yoga and Juice located in Blaine, Minnesota, just outside of Minneapolis. Stay warm indoors these winter months while you deepen your practice, delve into yogic philosophy, and learn how to teach yoga in our gold-standard yoga teacher training program. Beginning in January, students will meet for 7 weekends with Los Angeles trainer Chrissy Canning. Chrissy Canning brings  a holistic approach to yoga and interweaves her additional education in childbirth and natal care, family health, and integrative nutrition.

Class Requirement
Students are required to take 16 classes throughout the duration of the program to experience different styles, levels and methodologies.

TUITION

$3,100 when you pay in full by October 6, 2018
$3,350 when you pay in full by December 15, 2018
$3,600 after December 15, 2018

 

Students who have graduated from a previous 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered program, receive 50% off the full tuition price.

Students will receive free membership at Pressed Hot Yoga & Juice throughout the duration of the training.

Tuition must be paid in full by the early registration date to receive the discounted rate.
Payment Plans available off the full price plus a $50 admin fee (50% of tuition must be received two weeks before start date). Contact us for more details.

PREREQUISITE

We recommend 1 year of consistent yoga practice and require a minimum of six months of a consistence yoga practice or equivalent training.

Chrissy Canning

Chrissy Canning Beutel, mother, E-RYT 500, RPYT, BA in Dance Kinesiology, Master Trainer for Yoga Family Health, YogaWorks 200 & 300 Teacher Trainer & Mentor, Childbirth Educator, Prenatal & Postnatal Teacher, Doula, Yoga Tune-Up, Meditation Teacher, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

 

Chrissy encourages mind-body awareness paralleled in the dynamics of one’s unique breath. Her classes build with themes to challenge and honor each individual’s practice. Chrissy teaches from a place of joy with great details to anatomy alignment and encourages community to empower our universal spirit. She works in the union of opposites to balance sacred and place, stability and space, effort and ease, strength and flexibility.

As a Yoga Educator 500-hour E-RYT and holding multiple certifications, Chrissy teaches around the world in Japan, China, Los Angeles, Mexico, Minnesota, San Francisco, Costa Rica, Orange County and the Bahamas. Her credentials include teaching 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, Yoga for Athletes, Pre & Postnatal Yoga, Ayurveda Workshops, Meditation, Restoratives, Corrective Exercise, Anatomy Workshops, Injury Recovery and Prevention.

 

Chrissy is the founder of Yoga Family Health which offers program to support both teachers and pregnant students for the many transitions of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood. Chrissy found yoga in the late 1990s through Fitness & Pranayama. “I needed a retreat from my anxiety and self criticism. I’m forever grateful to the practice which has balanced my nervous system and helped me find inner peace. Pressed Hot Yoga & Juice

At Pressed Hot Yoga and Juice, we created a vibrant environment for our yoga students and juice customers to connect as a community and improve their health. Helping you rebuild balance and learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, we’re also committed to building friendships, community and long-lasting alliances.

 

Pressed Hot Yoga and Juice’s facility is a lush oasis with two yoga studios and a full service cold-pressed juice bar. The juice bar offers a variety of juices, acai bowls and cleanses. The heated yoga classes are held in a state of the art hot yoga studio offering climate-controlled heat (105 degrees) and humidity (35%) with air filtration and purification system. The warm studio hosts the barre, yoga sculpt and gentle flow classes. Students will enjoy the zebra mat flooring in both studios to provide ease on muscles and joints as well as the spa-inspired changing rooms, showers, lockers and vanity area. The studio also has a Zen room a place to cool off after class or get to know the community. The spaces includes a retail boutique, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor patio, and an abundance of parking.
